Sell your used car
You’ve probably heard from neighbours, friends, and coworkers how easy it is to sell a used car—all it takes is slapping a for sale sign on your neighbouhood and placing an ad on eBay. Unfortunately, that method might get you very little for a vehicle that’s worth several thousand pounds more. The truth is, selling your own car isn’t always as simple as advertised; unless you know what you’re doing, selling a used car can be difficult and time-consuming. For example, if you don’t take proper care of your car before listing it online, potential buyers will be turned off by cosmetic issues like scratches and dents. And if you aren’t familiar with local market conditions (i.e., how much money people are willing to pay for certain cars), there’s a good chance you won’t get best money for your ride.
