Scrap Vauxhall Cavalier does not beat Scrap Car Buyers driver

Today Scrap Car Buyers were called to a wiley Scrap Vauxhall Cavalier in the Pype Hayes district of Birmingham that had been stood in a garage for over 2 years. The car was firmly settled in place within the small and very narrow concrete garage that was 200 yards along a narrow driveway at the rear of the Scrap Car Buyers customers house. Not only was it too narrow for anything wider than a car, it was also with a very sharp corner and a dead end.

The scrap car would not start and had 4 flat tyres that were in no fit state to be inflated ever again. Even 2 handed the Scrap Car Buyers team could not budge the car by pushing it or using any of the other age old remedies used to remove reluctanct scrap cars, so a plan of action needed to be designed and deployed to remove this reluctant scrap car from it’s adopted home.

Directly behind the lane leading to the garage was an industrial estate with a steel fence separating it, a 3 mile drive eventually found the Scrap Car Buyers driver and truck the other side of the fence directly opposite the car. The winch was released and taken over a 6 foot wall, up an embankment through some trees where eventually the Scrap Car Buyers driver was able to pass it through the hole in the fence to his co driver who connected it to the wiley Vauxhall cavalier. As with all Scrap Car Buyers trucks the winch was capable of pulling a rolling load of up to 10 tonne so made light work of beating the resistant Cavalier and it was soon rolling out in the the sunshine.

Once out of the garage the breaks were no longer seized on and the 2 Scrap Car Buyers collection agents were able to push the Cavalier along the driveway to the now returned Scrap Car Buyers recovery truck.

The Cavalier said good bye to it’s home in a Pype Hayes, Birmingham garage and was crushed within 3 hours having been completely decontaminated beforehand.

Another scrap dealer renages on the price offered

Scrap Car Buyers yesterday paid £70 cash for a Renault in Willenhall, the owner of the scrap car was very happy and admitted that Scrap Car Buyers had renewed their trust in scrap car dealers after a bad experience.

Only the day before they had accepted an offer over the phone of £60 only to find that when the driver arrived, he would not give them any cash and still wanted to take the car. His excuse was that the car was worthless. Scrap Car Buyers offered an extra £10 over and above the offer, not because the car was worth £70 as it was only really worth £50 or £60, however, we offered the extra as a gesture of good will.

When will scrap car dealers realise that they can no longer go around trying to get cars from people for free? Scrap Cars Purchased Today

Amongst some of the vehicles that Scrap Car Buyers purchased today were a BMW 316i from Halesowen, a Volvo 960 estate from Witton and A Vauxhall Vectra from Acocks Green.

The BMW was on a very steep narrow drive in a very steep road that was very busy. This proved an awkward vehicle to remove due to the positioning.

The Volvo too was an awkward collection due to it being in a garage with a 4 inch lip on the exit, the scrap Volvo being a non runner with flat tyres and the fact that it was in a service road at the rear of the house that was very narrow forcing a manual removal of the vehicle to the roadside.

Finally today the Vectra had flat tyres was parked in a narrow street and hemmed in. This of course made it quite difficult to remove.

Luckily the remainder of todays vehicles were relatively easy to collect for Scrap Car Buyers.
